The proposed Oasis Academy would replace Kaskenmoor and South Chadderton secondary schools as part of Oldham's Building Schools for the Future programme. The Academy would open in September 2010, initially using the existing sites at Roman Road and Butterworth Lane and moving to a brand new building at Brook Mill on Hollins Road in September 2012.
This Academy would join the family of Oasis Academies across England and would be the second in Greater Manchester, joining Oasis Academy MediaCityUK in Salford, which opened in 2008.

Maths and Computing, and a second specialism in Business and Enterprise.
