Engaging Hearts and Minds to Raise Achievement
The Annual Oasis Competency-based Curriculum Conference will take place on 13th-14th June 2011.
Held at the Elim Conference Centre, Great Malvern, and led by Jackie Beere OBE, the conference offers a fantastic opportunity for teachers and school staff to develop their school or academy’s Competency-based Curriculum, share experiences, and swap expertise.
The conference will particularly cover:
• How to raise achievement and ensure outstanding teaching and learning;
• How to improve progress in key skills, in particular literacy across all subjects;
• How to measure progress as well as skills, how to validate your curriculum with data and expert delivery;
• How to embed collaborative pedagogy in your team and as a model for independent learning across your school/academy.
