Oasis Academy Wintringham
Oasis Academy Wintringham is due to open in September 2007.
The Academy will be built on the existing site of Wintringham School, off Weelsby Avenue, Grimsby. The existing school will close in August 2007 and re-open as an Academy in the existing buildings in Sept 2007. The Academy will transfer across to the brand new buildings during the academic year 2008-09.
Oasis Academy Wintringham will cater for 1,100 students in the 11-19 age range – 900 students 11-16; and 200 students 16-19 through working in partnership with other local post-16 providers.
The Academy will specialise in Sports & Health, with an enterprising focus.
