The vision for Oasis Community Learning has always been to create :

With this vision at the forefront of everything we do, we are, (with the full support of the Department for Education), continuing to grow in the numbers of Academies joining the Oasis family and with 49 open Academies, we are now one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in England.

We operate in four main regions of England: the North, the Midlands, the South West and London and the South East, providing primary, secondary and all-through education.

We have a relentless commitment to raising the bar for all and eleiminating the gap for our disadvantaged students. We are making the difference to countless children and young people in Oasis communites across the country. At Oasis Academy Hadley, secondary phase, we have recently done just that - there is no gap between the more and less advantaged.

The sustainability of OCL is down in part to a number of intentional strategic decisions to ensure that all students staff and schools are able to be served, supported and challenged as part of our family. To do this we undertake a process of due diligence for any school wanting to join the trust. This process aims to establish a mutually beneficial 'fit' for anyone joining the Oasis family and supports a shared sustainable future.

We would be particularly interested in hearing from you if....

  • You are within 45 minutes travelling time of an existing Oasis Academy ( See where our Academies are near you )
  • Your level of disadvantage is at or above national average
  • You are a designated teaching school
  • You are a 2FE or larger Primary
  • You are a 6FE or larger, Good or Outstanding Secondary
  • You have sustainable pupil numbers and demographics ( above 70% of PAN on role)
  • You have a sustainable and balanced budget
  • You have a sustainable plan for any major liabilities

Closing the Gap

The percentage of inspected Academies attaining ‘Good’ or better rose from 30% to 81% since 2014. With 81% of secondaries and all-throughs inspected rated as 'Good' or better, we are above the national average.

We are securing better education across the group and closing the gap for our disadvantaged students.

49 Academies

We chose to join Oasis Community Learning as a Converter School because because it holds the same values we do. The passion to provide exceptional education at the heart of the community, the commitment to being fully inclusive, giving all children every chance to achieve success both academically and socially.

Primary Achievement 2016-2017

During the year ending 31st August 2017 we were responsible for 27 Primary and 3 All-through Academies

  • 58% KS2 achieved expected standard in RWM. A 13% point increase in one academic year
  • Oasis Pupils are now just 3 percentage points below the national averate and up from 8 last year
  • Oasis Academy Limeside achieved a remarkable 94% pupils reaching expected standards
  • Oasis Academy Byron had 92% of pupils accomplish expected standards
  • This year our pupils' achieved an average progress score of 0.95 in maths, up 0.37 from last year, and an average of 0.81 in writing.

Secondary Achievement 2016-2017

During the year ending 31st August 2017, we were responsible for 17 Secondary and 3 All-through Academies

  • Following the introduction of Progress 8 last year, Oasis' average score improved from -0.26 to 0.14.
  • Disadvantaged students' progress 8 scores went up by 0.12 in the last year
  • SEN students' average scores have improved over a third of a grade in all subjects
  • In Enfield students at Oasis Academy Hadley closed the gap on disadvantage
