The heart of Oasis has always been rooted in our people - the students who shape our academies and the colleagues whose passion creates the cultures our communities rely on.

These strengths are evident every day yet often go unspoken as our teams focus their energy on supporting others, improving lives and inspiring hope.

This is why we’re thrilled to celebrate the latest results from the TEP (The Engagement Platform) feedback cycle, following the Autumn 2025 Census. Several of our academies have been recognised in the Top 5% and Top 10% nationally for engagement, reflecting outstanding pupil experience, staff wellbeing and inclusive, courageous leadership.

These recognitions aren’t just awards; they are a testament to the compassion, commitment and connectedness woven throughout Oasis.

A pupil voice that shines…

One of the stand-out successes this term comes from Oasis Academy Parkwood, which has proudly received a Top 10% Primary badge for pupil voice.

At Parkwood, children don’t just participate in school life - they lead it. Through roles like academy MPs, Eco Champions, Mini SLT and more, pupils help shape decisions, raise ideas and support their peers.

Sharing their experiences of leadership, Haadi, Oasis Academy Parkwood, Year 5 MP, said: “My role makes me feel important… everyone’s opinion matters and I am able to share this at meetings with the adults in school.”

Mini Principal, Gabriella, added: “Even when you are little you can achieve great things.”

While, Ocean, Oasis Parkwood’s Mini Maths Lead concluded: “I like to have special opportunities. It shows that anything is possible.”

From classroom discussions to genuine involvement in academy leadership, Oasis Parkwood pupils demonstrate what happens when every child is heard, supported and celebrated.

A thriving employee experience…

This year’s TEP results also highlight the strength, warmth and professionalism that characterise our staff teams.

Several academies, including Oasis Academies Boulton, Byron, New Oak, Bank Leaze and Temple Quarter, all earned multiple Top 5% and Top 10% badges across areas such as inclusion, wellbeing, leadership and job satisfaction.

At Oasis Academy Temple Quarter, the sense of belonging is especially strong. One colleague shared:

“From the moment I joined Oasis Academy Temple Quarter, I have been met with warmth, trust and an overwhelming sense of support… I feel a sense of belonging that is rarely encountered; my views matter and there is a strong sense of having a shared purpose.”

“There are no gimmicks… Temple Quarter continues to do the basics brilliantly; trust, support and unwavering encouragement to be our best.”

Strong staff engagement was also celebrated at Oasis Clarksfield, Watermead, Warndon, Woodview, Parkwood and Oasis Academy John Williams, proving that across all phases, Oasis colleagues experience environments of compassion, professionalism and mutual trust.

At Oasis Academy Clarksfield, Principal Rebecca Howard described the heart of their approach:

“We have worked hard to nurture a culture where colleagues feel valued, supported, and genuinely heard… all staff are equal, and all equally play an essential part in the success of the school.”

“Our focus on continuous professional development means that our offer is accessible for all staff at different roles and stages of their career and ensures opportunities for all staff to lead training and share their expertise.”

A shared vision…

These achievements are much deeper than numbers or badges, they highlight the relationships, culture and shared purpose at the heart of Oasis.

The TEP process gives every academy the opportunity to celebrate what is strong, identify what could be even better and contribute to a national standard of excellence. These badges stand as public recognition of the trust we build, the support we provide and the hope we foster.

Thank you to everyone who shared their voice in this cycle. Your insights guide our progress and strengthen our community.

We hope you can join us in sharing a huge congratulations to all of our academies recognised. We’re excited to see even more Oasis communities shine in the next cycle - continuing to show the exceptional work happening across our family every day.
