Double celebrations for Oasis Academy Skinner Street as they win national and local council awards

Congratulations are in order for Oasis Academy Skinner Street, who are celebrating twice the amount this week as they find out they have gained the ‘Kent and Medway Workplace Wellbeing Bronze Award’ and the ‘Leading Parent Partnership Award from Optimus Education.’

Oasis Academy Skinner Street, has received recognition from Medway Council for all of the work they have been doing to reflect policies in place within their organisation to enhance the dedication in supporting staff members and creating a strong foundation within the Academy to prioritise staff wellbeing. The Academy were thrilled to learn that after a rigorous assessment process, the Academy’s pledges and actions were evaluated at bronze level.

Not only have they been able to achieve this, but Oasis Academy Skinner Street were also awarded with the Leading Parent Partnership Award from Optimus Education. This is a national award which aims to help schools across the U.K. to work harmoniously in partnership with all parents and carers, which ultimately increases parental participation in school activities.

By gaining such a prestigious award, Oasis Academy Skinner Street have proved to be successful in engaging parents to be involved in their children’s learning, which leads to improved outcomes in all aspects of their child’s school life.
