We’re delighted to share that Liz Robinson, CEO of Big Education, has been appointed as the new Chair of Trustees for the Fair Education Alliance (FEA). The FEA is a national coalition of more than 300 organisations, including Oasis, working together to tackle the root causes of socioeconomic inequity in education.

Liz brings more than two decades of values‑led leadership and system‑wide influence. She is widely recognised for championing an education approach that develops the head, heart and hand, and for her long‑standing commitment to collaboration, innovation and improving outcomes for children and families facing the greatest barriers.

Her appointment comes at a particularly significant moment, as Big Education prepares to join the Oasis family from September 2026. Liz’s commitment to whole‑child, whole‑community education aligns strongly with Oasis’s ethos and will further strengthen the collective impact of our partnership.

We look forward to working even more closely with the Fair Education Alliance as Liz steps into her new role and continues to support the FEA’s vital Neighbourhood to National strategy. This place‑based approach focuses on improving outcomes for children by working directly with local communities while also influencing national policy.

As a trust with a holistic, community‑centred mission, Oasis is proud to be an active member of the FEA, contributing to a shared ambition to ensure that no child’s success is limited by their background.

Please join us in congratulating Liz on this well‑deserved appointment.
