Oasis Academy Lister Park's 10th Anniversary Celebration

Oasis Academy Lister Park celebrated their tenth year of opening last week, with members of the academy, local community and senior leaders from OCL. 

Dignitaries were delighted by a range of performances from the choir, cultural dances from the Roma community and Desi culture, a poetry recital and moments of reflection from the student leadership team on the academy’s recent Good Ofsted inspection in March 2024.

Oasis Academy Lister Park Principal, Jules Millar, thanked all students, families and colleagues for their diligence and dedication to the young people of Manningham.

Our CEO John Barneby said “"Reflecting on this event, I am proud to say it showcased the very best of Oasis. Our students demonstrated exceptional talent and enthusiasm, and it was fantastic to see the school and wider community coming together to celebrate 10 years of the Oasis family in Bradford."

Our Founder Steve Chalke addressed the room with his reflections on the difference we can all make in impacting on each other’s lives in a positive way.

Community Hub Leader Ralph Berry gave a presentation on the plans for a community resource based at the academy, to offer a range of services to the local community.

He said, “I’m excited about the range of local partnerships formed that will allow the academy to serve the local community.”
