Oasis students celebrate strongest A Level results in recent years!

Sixth form students across Oasis Community Learning are celebrating after receiving their A Level and BTEC results today, with many now progressing to leading universities, degree apprenticeships, specialist training programmes and employment. The achievements of Oasis students reflect the hard work, ambition and resilience of young people, supported by dedicated staff, families and academy communities across the trust. 

This year saw continued improvement in A Level outcomes across Oasis, with particularly strong progress at the highest grades. The proportion of entries awarded grades A*-B has risen by more than seven percentage points since last year and by ten percentage points over the last two years, exceeding this year's national average. The trust also saw a particularly encouraging performance from disadvantaged students, whose A*-B attainment increased by thirteen percentage points, significantly narrowing the gap with their peers.

Oasis Community Learning A Level results:

• 57% of A Level entries were awarded grades A*-B, up from 50% in 2025 and 47% in 2024, exceeding this year’s national figure of 56.4%.

• 81% of entries achieved grades A*-C, compared with 79% in 2025 and 74% in 2024. 

• Disadvantaged students achieved particularly strong progress, with 60% of entries awarded grades A*-B, up from 47% last year. 

Alongside the trust's strongest-ever Key Stage 2 outcomes earlier this summer, these results demonstrate Oasis's commitment to delivering an exceptional education from start to finish. Through high expectations, expert teaching and a relentless focus on opportunity, Oasis academies support young people to overcome barriers, fulfil their potential and prepare for successful futures. 

The impact of that approach can be seen not only in rising attainment, but also in the ambitious destinations students are now progressing to, including Russell Group universities, degree apprenticeships, specialist training programmes and employment across sectors such as healthcare, engineering, politics, law, sport and the creative industries. 

Through sustained investment in teaching, wellbeing, attendance and wider educational opportunities, Oasis academies work to ensure every young person leaves education ready for their next steps. Alongside academic and vocational study, students benefit from careers education, employer engagement, work experience and enrichment opportunities that help develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive.

Oasis academy destinations: 

• At Oasis Academy South Bank in Waterloo, Mohamad, Aria and Yasin all achieved three A*s each and are destined to study medicine and engineering.  

• At Oasis Academy Enfield, Jayden achieved A*AB, and has accepted a place at Queen Mary University, to study Aerospace Engineering 

• At Oasis Academy Shirley Park in Croydon, Matthew achieved Distinction*BB and has accepted a place at Queen Mary University of London to study Business with Law  

• At Oasis Academy Hadley in Enfield, Cloe achieved A*A*A*A and has accepted a place at the University of Durham to study English and History
