The wait for GCSE results is over as 3,000 Year 11 students across the country returned to school one final time to collect their grades. Students arrived at their academies, nervous but excited to receive an envelope with their final grades which they shared with friends and families.

Principals, subject teachers, and staff were on hand to share their congratulations and support where needed, and to ensure that every young person knew their next steps.

From the North, Midlands, South West, London & South East, to the South Coast, students have achieved superb individual results.

John Murphy, CEO of Oasis Community Learning says:

“I am so proud of the achievements our students have made across the family of academies today. The pandemic has had a profound impact on learning globally, and for this cohort of students a big part of their KS4 studies was considerably different to most years.”

“However, from this cohort I have seen resilience, perseverance, and a determination to keep going. It has been truly wonderful to see this reflected in the stories we've seen today.”
