The wait is finally over! Yesterday, thousands of Year 11 students across the Oasis family returned to their academies to collect their GCSE results and celebrate the culmination of years of hard work, determination and resilience.

From the moment the doors opened, academies were filled with excitement, anticipation and plenty of nervous smiles as students opened the envelopes containing the results they had worked so hard to achieve.

Staff, families and friends joined together to celebrate every success, whether that meant securing top grades, exceeding expectations, gaining places at Sixth Forms and colleges, or taking the next step towards apprenticeships and future careers.

Across the country, from Yorkshire and the North East to, London, the South West and the South Coast, Oasis students have once again demonstrated incredible ambition, perseverance and character. Today has been a celebration not only of academic achievement, but of the determination and personal growth that has defined the journey of the Class of 2026.

John Barneby, CEO of Oasis Community Learning, said:

"Today is about celebrating the achievements of our young people. Behind every result is years of hard work, determination and resilience, supported by dedicated staff, families and academy communities."

"It is particularly encouraging to see outcomes for students who face disadvantage continuing to improve, alongside outstanding results in academies across the trust. While we remain ambitious for every child, these results show strong progress and give us real confidence for the future."
