The wait for A’ Level results is over as students across the country returned to school one final time to collect their grades. The current coronavirus pandemic hasn’t dampened spirits for final year students across the Oasis family, as they look forward to taking their next steps today after securing some great results.

A number of students have achieved superb individual results.

At Oasis Academy Lister Park, Zeeshan the academy’s highest achieving student, has secured grade As in biology, chemistry, maths and Urdu. He will be going on to the University of Dundee to study dentistry.

Sian Dover, Principal at Oasis Academy Lister Park, said; "We are thrilled for our young people who have worked so hard for these results. They have showed commitment and resilience during a challenging year and a half, never losing focus."

At Oasis Academy Shirley Park, Ronaldo was the highest achieving student, gaining A*A*A,A* in maths, physics, art, Spanish ,and an EPQ. He is off to the University College London to study engineering. He has also applied to University of Cambridge through adjustment and is waiting to hear back.

Bartek and Benny have both secured places on the University of Sheffield world renowned architecture course. Bartek achieved A*AA in maths, physics and art, and Benny achieved A*AA in media studies, art and psychology. Both have also applied through adjustment to the University of Cambridge and are waiting to hear back.

Saqib Chaudhri, Principal at Oasis Academy Shirley Park, commented saying; "This year’s results day has been very different to previous celebration. It’s great to be here today to acknowledge the hard work and achievements of our young people, and we are very excited about their destinations and next steps. We wish them all the very best for in their future endeavours.

At Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey Paige, who has excelled with a Distinction* in Applied Law, A* in A-level Biology and A* in A-level Psychology. Paige proceeds onto study Biomedical Sciences with an integrated master’s at The University of Manchester. Paige was chuffed with her results having been nervous this morning awaiting their arrival.

Sam, who achieved Distinction* in Applied Psychology, a Distinction in Applied Law and a C in A Level Criminology and has secured an apprenticeship in Aerospace Engineering, proudly the Academy’s first ever. He spoke to staff today at the academy and expressed his excitement to be proceeding onto such a specialist industry.

Tina Lee, Principal at Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey commented saying; "Students have arrived today incredibly happy and proud of their achievements and secure in their choices of destinations. They leave us today with the qualifications that they need to go on to university or into work, confident in the fantastic grades that they have achieved - we wish them all the very best for in their future endeavours.”

At Oasis Academy Enfield, Chantel was the highest achieving student, gaining A’s in French and Film and a B in Art. She is off to the University of Kent to study International Business with a year abroad.

Beulah achieved a Distinction*, Distinction in Applied Science and a Distinction in Business and is going to study Biomedical Science at Manchester Met University.

Anthony Williams, Principal at Oasis Academy Enfield commented saying; "It’s great to be here today to mark the individual achievements of our young people and we are excited about their destinations and next steps in their lives. We are deeply proud of them.”
