Oasis Academy Clarksfield is an inclusive Academy for children aged between 3 and 11. We aim to cultivate habits and attitudes that enable young people to become better learners; face difficulty and uncertainty calmly, confidently and creatively. Within our Academy we celebrate diversity and relentlessly focus on progress and attainment of all our children.

A Message From the Principal

Welcome to Oasis Academy Clarksfield’s website. I am proud and privileged to be the interim principal of Oasis Academy Clarksfield where I am fortunate enough to lead a team of professionals dedicated to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to ‘Dare to know and Dare to be wise.’

At Oasis Academy Clarksfield we believe in investing in our children, families and staff. Our children are the future generation of Pilots, Doctors, Scientists and Politicians. Our children are ready for whomever they want to be and whatever they want to do.  What happens at Oasis Academy Clarksfield will shape them not just for the here and now, but for the next phase of their education and beyond. We believe that learning is the most precious gift that people have and as education professionals it is our responsibility to ensure that children recognise the longevity of their learning journey and develop the skills to approach learning with awe, wonder and self-motivation.

We believe passionately in making a difference to all children, holistically and academically. Everything we do is built on an ethos of mutual respect for all linked to the Oasis 9 habits:-compassionate, considerate, forgiving, honest, hopeful, humble, joyful, patient and self-controlled.

Keeping our children safe is at the heart of everything we do and we take all aspects of safeguarding extremely seriously.

I work on the principle of ‘If it’s not good enough for my own child, then it’s not good enough for Oasis Academy Clarksfield!’

If you have any questions, or would like to come and see just how fantastic Oasis Academy Clarksfield is for yourself, please contact us.

Our Community

We offer opportunities for extended learning beyond the core Academy day. Our extended provision through our Hub team is at the centre of our community work. The team deliver a wide range of services which engage public, voluntary and business sectors in the establishment of a centre of education and lifelong learning. We aspire for the Academy to be at the heart of our local community, recognised by others for our clear understanding and support of local issues and awareness of community needs.

At Oasis we recognise that people are not two-dimensional beings; we are each a whole person with a broad range of aspirations and needs and these needs are interconnected. To truly help someone with their educational needs, it is vital to also be aware of their emotional needs, spiritual needs and economic needs.

As such, we believe in communities that are holistic, interconnected and totally inclusive. We call our model for these communities ‘Hub.’ Watch the video above to learn more about our vision for hub.

Oasis Academy Clarksfield is part of the Oasis Hub: Oldham. As well as the Academy, the Hub runs a number of services for the community. By ensuring that all these services are joined up and rooted in same ethos we want to see the entire community transformed for the better.
