A Message From the Principal

I believe strongly that as we embrace and understand the Christian ethos on which our Academy culture, beliefs, values and vision are built, we will continue to grow and cement our place as the local school of choice for our community, offering an exceptional education experience for every student that attends.

Yes - of course I want students to leave with the best academic results possible.  However, it is equally important to me that they also become exceptionally grounded young men and women, of whom we can all be proud.  Being part of the "Oasis Coulsdon Hub" offers a unique opportunity and experience where students can learn not only in the classroom environment but also in the wider community, developing skills that will stand them and society in good stead for the future.

Our Academy will never stand still;  we constantly review and improve our systems and structures and do whatever it takes to ensure our students achieve their potential and enjoy a ‘life of limitless potential’.

I hope that you will take the opportunity to browse through the web pages of our Academy and be sure to visit us whenever the opportunity arises.

Andy Booth,

Our Academy will never stand still

Our Region

Welcome to London and the South East (LSE). We are the largest region in Oasis with 14 academies, serving diverse and dynamic communities. Our academies provide education to 9546 students in early years, primary, secondary and sixth form.

We are very proud of our students’ achievements. During 2017-18, for the third consecutive year, academy improvements resulted in stronger outcomes across the region, at every phase. In particular, our youngest children in early years made a very promising start to Key Stage 1. Their achievement was well above the national average. At the same time, a high number of our sixth formers successfully gained places in further education, training or employment.

We are unquestionably stronger when we work together. Our regional development is underpinned by collective drive, ambition and high expectations. As a region our:

  • Students are provided with opportunities to collaborate and succeed, beyond their immediate community. This year all LSE academies are participating in The Shakespeare Schools’ Festival (the world’s largest youth drama festival) and the LSE Regional Music Showcase.
  • Leaders, teachers and support staff are part of the LSE professional learning community. This provides ongoing training and development through our regional improvement networks and support forums.
  • Communities continue to be well supported by our Hubs and the work of Oasis Community Partnerships.
  • Conference is always an annual highlight. This year we are focusing on Learning to Learn. We are delighted to be working Dr Daniel Muijs and Dr Christian Bokhove, both leading experts in this field, who will join us this year to share their knowledge and practical approaches.

In LSE we thrive on feedback, welcome new ideas and visitors to our academies. So do be in touch with Lara.Fisher@Oasisuk.org if you would like to make contact.

Our Community
