The Hadley Way of Aspire, Achieve, Care and Endeavour underpins our ethos of success as an Academy.
We have high expectations and want our students to have high aspirations and to be the best they can be. We have a structured system of rewards and sanctions ensuring that all students can learn in a safe, secure learning environment.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Oasis Academy Hadley.Together we can ensure that your son or daughter gets the best possible start to his or her life.
We provide a very good education for all our children from Nursery to Sixth Form in our state of the art, building.
In our recent Ofsted inspection, June 2016, the Inspectors found that the school continues to be good. They commented that ‘good quality care pervades all aspects of the school’s life and work’ and ‘we ensure that in all phases, the rates of progress of children, pupils and students is at least good.’
"I am very proud of what we have achieved at Oasis Academy Hadley since we opened in 2009."
Our students achieve a 1/3 of a grade higher in their GCSEs than other schools nationally
‘Provision in the early years and key stages 1 and 2 is a particular strength’ (Ofsted, 2016)
Outstanding Sixth Form University success, 94% of students go to university, 46% to Russell group and top third universities
Welcome to London and the South East (LSE). We are the largest region in Oasis with 14 academies, serving diverse and dynamic communities. Our academies provide education to 9546 students in early years, primary, secondary and sixth form.
We are very proud of our students’ achievements. During 2017-18, for the third consecutive year, academy improvements resulted in stronger outcomes across the region, at every phase. In particular, our youngest children in early years made a very promising start to Key Stage 1. Their achievement was well above the national average. At the same time, a high number of our sixth formers successfully gained places in further education, training or employment.
We are unquestionably stronger when we work together. Our regional development is underpinned by collective drive, ambition and high expectations. As a region our:
- Students are provided with opportunities to collaborate and succeed, beyond their immediate community. This year all LSE academies are participating in The Shakespeare Schools’ Festival (the world’s largest youth drama festival) and the LSE Regional Music Showcase.
- Leaders, teachers and support staff are part of the LSE professional learning community. This provides ongoing training and development through our regional improvement networks and support forums.
- Communities continue to be well supported by our Hubs and the work of Oasis Community Partnerships.
- Conference is always an annual highlight. This year we are focusing on Learning to Learn. We are delighted to be working Dr Daniel Muijs and Dr Christian Bokhove, both leading experts in this field, who will join us this year to share their knowledge and practical approaches.
In LSE we thrive on feedback, welcome new ideas and visitors to our academies. So do be in touch with Lara.Fisher@Oasisuk.org if you would like to make contact.
The exceptional education we offer is a starting point for providing so much more within our Hub and community.
Oasis Academy Hadley is part of Oasis Community Hub: Hadley. As well as the Academy, the Hub runs a number of services for the community. By ensuring that all these services are joined up and rooted in same ethos we want to see the entire community transformed for the better.

We have recently been given our own charitable status and are now officially call Oasis Community Hub: Hadley. We hope that this new development will open up many new doors for us and enable us to continue our work within the community.
Our team is made up of 3 Youth Workers and 3 Family Support Workers who work hard to provide a supportive service not just to our students and their families but also our local community. We believe that everyone in Ponders End should feel part of the Oasis Hadley community.
