A warm welcome to Oasis Academy Limeside – a place where EVERYONE SHINES WITH POSSIBILITY!
Our website provides all the information you will need to learn about academy life, our many great achievements, our excellent standards, our community involvement, amazing curriculum and the many experiences and opportunities we provide for our children.
It is a privilege to be working alongside a professional and dedicated staff team whose mission is to deliver exceptional education at the heart of our community. Together we are united with the unwavering belief that all of our children can and will succeed both personally and academically.
At OA Limeside we work intentionally to develop the character and competence of everyone involved in the Academy through the lens of the Oasis 9 Habits. We are an Academy where everyone is included, valued and supported to be healthy, happy and confident learners. We offer the highest quality of education; an exciting and relevant curriculum, the highest standards in teaching and learning, stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments and a commitment to the very best academic outcomes for our children, which grow from the highest of expectations of all.
At OA Limeside we pride ourselves on working in partnership with our families and the local community to help ensure that every child can be the best that they can be within and beyond the Academy. We work with our Oasis Oldham hub to provide opportunities and experiences for our children and their wider families and neighbours giving advantage to the disadvantaged.
We believe that at Limeside everyone SHINES with possibility and everything that we do aims to develop children that are ‘Socially responsible, High achieving, Independent, Nurtured and Empowered to meet life’s’ challenges!’
We believe that every child should love learning, they should pursue individual interests and talents, be taught an outstanding curriculum by outstanding teachers and achieve outstanding results and achievements.

We offer opportunities for extended learning beyond the core Academy day. Our extended provision through our Hub team is at the centre of our community work. The team deliver a wide range of services which engage public, voluntary and business sectors in the establishment of a centre of education and lifelong learning. We aspire for the Academy to be at the heart of our local community, recognised by others for our clear understanding and support of local issues and awareness of community needs.
At Oasis we recognise that people are not two-dimensional beings; we are each a whole person with a broad range of aspirations and needs and these needs are interconnected. To truly help someone with their educational needs, it is vital to also be aware of their emotional needs, spiritual needs and economic needs.
As such, we believe in communities that are holistic, interconnected and totally inclusive. We call our model for these communities ‘Hub.’ Watch the video above to learn more about our vision for hub.
Oasis Academy Limeside is part of Oasis Hub Oldham. As well as the school, the hub runs a number of integrated community services. By ensuring that all these services are joined up and rooted in same ethos we want to see the entire community transformed for the better.
