A Message From the Principal

I would like to welcome you to Oasis Academy Marksbury Road – our small, but mighty academy of very precious staff and children. As the Principal it is a true privilege to be leading this academy, with the most dedicated team of professionals supporting me. Together we are united with the unwavering belief that all of our children can and will succeed!

Oasis Academy Marksbury Road opened in September 2015 as new school in the heart of Bristol housed in a state of the art new building. We are a community school in the most literal sense – positioned at the end of Marksbury Road, right in the heart of the community that we serve. We opened with one Reception class and we are now a two-form entry academy with two new Reception classes being added each year. We are proud of our academy – and we are proud to be building a beacon of excellence for the children and families of Bedminster.

Our vision is clear and concise – Building and Achieving Brilliance. At Oasis Academy Marksbury Road we offer the highest quality of education; an exciting and relevant curriculum, the highest standards in teaching and learning, stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments and a commitment to the very best academic outcomes for our children, which grow from the highest of expectations. Our Community

Oasis Academy Marksbury Road is part of Oasis Hub South Bristol. The hub runs a number of services for the community. By ensuring that all these services are joined up and rooted in the same ethos we want to see the entire community transformed for the better.

The Oasis Community Cafe

If you love good coffee, good cake and a good laugh, then the Oasis Coffee Shop is the place for you!  We're a friendly and vibrant community space, open to everyone on a Friday morning from 8:30 - 11.30.

We believe that people should come before profit which is why our prices are so low.  We also run a 'Have One On Us' scheme for anyone who doesn't have enough for a drink.
