A Message From the Principal

Welcome to Oasis Academy Putney’s updated website. We are delighted that you’ve shown an interest in our school and hope that you find the website useful.

Everything we do at Oasis Academy Putney is backed by our commitment to the Oasis 9 Habits which are an invitation to a way of life characterised by being compassionate, patient, humble, joyful, honest, hopeful, considerate, forgiving and self-controlled. We are an Ofsted-rated Good school with several Outstanding features.

We welcome each family into our school, ensuring each child settles into school well, ready to learn and thrive.

Located on the Putney Common, we make use of our proximity to outdoor space for our award-winning outdoor learning offer. We also have two playgrounds for our children to enjoy, and a new, made-for-purpose building with balconies in each classroom connecting students to nature.

We have a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring we instil a love of learning in our students as well as prepare them for the next steps in their lives. In addition to excellent foundations in the core subjects like reading, writing, and maths, each student will also have the opportunity to learn a foreign language and play an instrument.

We know students’ development continues beyond the classroom, so we have ample opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities.

We also provide each student with an iPad during their time with us to use both in school and at home, so they can learn to use technology early and further their learning with independent research at home.

We hope our website contains useful information for you to get to know our school. We welcome any questions and would love to hear from you at info@oasisputney.org.

We welcome you to Oasis Academy Putney! We’re so excited to have you become a part of our family and growing school.

Jenni Elliott

Interim Principal

Our Region

Welcome to London and the South East (LSE). We are the largest region in Oasis with 14 academies, serving diverse and dynamic communities. Our academies provide education to 9,470 students in early years, primary, secondary and sixth form.

We are very proud of our students’ achievements. During 2022-23, the Oasis curriculum continued to make significant impacts on students learning. Academy improvements resulted in stronger outcomes across the region, at every phase. We are proud of our children at each phase, whether that be those joining reception or those finishing their GCSEs and A-Levels.

We are unquestionably stronger when we work together. Our regional development is underpinned by collective drive, ambition and high expectations for each and every one of our students.

In LSE we thrive on feedback and welcome new ideas and visitors to our academies. So do be in touch with Ella.Marett-Gregory@oasisuk.org if you would like to make contact.

Our Community

At Oasis we recognise that people are not two-dimensional beings; we are each a whole person with a broad range of aspirations and needs and these needs are interconnected.  To truly help someone with their educational needs, it is vital to also be aware of their emotional needs, spiritual needs and economic needs.

As such, we believe in communities that are holistic, interconnected and totally inclusive.  We call our model for these communities ‘hub.’  In the video below, at one of our North London hubs, Oasis' Founder Steve Chalke explains more about the Oasis vision of transformation and making of healthy communities.
