Beyond Your Academy
All of our Academies and staff Oasis Community Learning become part of the Oasis family of charities, established on five continents. This means there are lots of opportunities to get involved and to make impact beyond your Academy, at both a local and global level.
The exceptional education we offer is a starting point for providing so much more within our Hubs and communities.
We believe that this wider inclusive experience is not only an important feature of our Academies, it is the unique selling point of Oasis Community Learning.
The purpose of the 'Hub' is to serve the whole person and the whole community. A whole person is someone who is flourishing: socially, physically, emotionally, spiritually, educationally, environmentally and morally.
Oasis is a global movement working in 11 countries around the world. We are a family, 'one Oasis', all committed to our shared vision of transforming the communities we work with.
Oasis currently works in Bangladesh, Belgium, Burkina Faso, India, Kyrgyztan, Mozambique, South Africa, Uganda, the UK, the USA and Zimabwe.
Every Oasis Academy has been partnered with a specific Oasis Global country in order to provide opportunities for us all to learn from one another and to support one another in practical ways - we call these Oasis Global Partnerships.
These partnerships provide unique opportunities for our students and staff to engage in learning about important global issues, think about how these issues impact them, their local, national and global community and take social action to make a difference in their world.
Our Oasis Global Partnerships also provide our staff with opportunities to work with their global colleagues.
We can arrange volunteering opportunities for staff in their global partner Hubs over the school holidays. Staff working in our secondary Academies may also have an opportunity to lead a student trip to visit their Oasis Global Partner communities.
